On | The scanner has received incorrect commands from your scanning software. When this error occurs, try to scan the document again. The scanner returns to normal when it receives correct commands. Normally you do not need to reset the scanner when this type of error occurs. |
Off | The communication procedure is wrong or time-out has occurred if a SCSI interface is used. When this error occurs, turn the scanner off and then back on again to reset it. If you are using the SCSI interface, turn off the computer first. Then, make sure you follow the proper SCSI power-on sequence. See Power-on sequence for instructions. |
Flashing | Make sure the scanner is connected to your computer properly. See the Start Here sheet for instructions on connecting the scanner to your computer.
